Digital Habitat : Connected Housing Days

The challenge

Digital Habitat brings together each year key players in the digital transformation of social housing. The event is held across two formats: an in-person day featuring roundtable discussions, followed by a fully online day with 45 webinars. With a demanding audience (social housing providers, CIOs, and startups), the challenge is to deliver a seamless experience across both formats while maintaining full control of the setup and ensuring flawless technical stability, even during peak attendance.

Workflow and solutions

Digitevent centralized the entire event management on a single platform: a dedicated website with a custom URL, registration forms tailored to each audience, and a mobile app bringing together the agenda, B2B matchmaking, and chat. Online sessions were hosted in integrated video conferencing rooms with advanced moderator controls. Live polls, Q&A sessions, and word clouds helped drive engagement throughout. A Digitevent project manager supported the team in the lead-up to the event, with an on-site expert present on the day.

Results

The event brought together 1,123 participants across both days. The 45 webinars hosted an average of 30 attendees each, with peaks of up to 50 simultaneous connections for some sessions. Partners also praised the quality of the profiles they met and gave the platform a rating of 4.23/5 for its ease of use and overall seamless experience. In light of these results, the collaboration with Digitevent has been renewed for future editions.
