CCI Alsace Eurométropole supports industrial companies across a cross-border region spanning Alsace, Germany and Switzerland. After COVID, one key challenge emerged: local buyers and suppliers lacked opportunities to connect. To address this, the CCI launched business meetings to facilitate these connections. As demand grew, event management became more complex: segmenting buyers and suppliers, handling detailed questionnaires, managing hybrid formats and variable pricing, while maintaining full control over every adjustment.
Workflow and solutions
Digitevent deployed a B2B matchmaking setup to structure the business meetings. Matching is based on segmentation from registration forms, enabling automatic scheduling of meeting slots, both onsite and virtual. Smart registration forms adapt to each profile using conditional fields. The ticketing system handles paid registrations with automated invoicing. The event app centralizes the agenda, meetings, chat, QR code contact exchange and video meetings. A Digitevent project manager supported the CCI through to full platform autonomy.
